Bintang muda Napoli Marek Hamsik mengaku bangga mengetahui raksasa Serie A Italia AC Milan tertarik mendapatkan jasanya. Namun jika tawaran benar terjadi, dia akan berdiskusi dengan klub terlebih dahulu.
"Menyenangkan diminati tim seperti Milan. Tetapi saya masih menganggap hal ini sebatas rumor yang dicetak di media masa," kata Hamsik.
"Jika benar datang tawaran resmi, saya akan berbicara dengan Napoli terlebih dahulu. Saya ingin bermain di sebuah klub yang selalu memburu Scudetto dan gelar Liga Champions."
Napoli termasuk salah satu klub yang bisa memenuhi ambisi Hamsik, karena telah memastikan diri berlaga di Liga Champions musim depan.
"Tidak seorangpun menduga kami bisa lolos ke Eropa. Pencapaian kami terbilang luar biasa. Saya tidak sabar mendengar alunan lagu khas Liga Champions di tengah lapangan.
"Secara umum kami berada di papan atas Serie A sepanjang musim. Konsistensi itu ada sekaligus bukti jika kami memang pantas berlaga di kompetisi paling elit Eropa."
