Palang pintu AC Milan Alessandro Nesta telah resmi memperpanjang kontaknya bersama Rossoneri, setelah manajemen klub mengumumkan pemain tersebut akan tetap berada di San Siro hingga tahun 2012.
“AC Milan mengumumkan Alessandro Nesta telah memperpanjang kontaknya hingga 30 Juni 2012,” demikian pernyataan klub dilansir laman resmi Milan.
Sebelumnya, sempat muncul sejumlah spekulasi berkaitan dengan masa depan Nesta. Bahkan, sejumlah media menyebutkan Nesta bakal pensiun.
Namun pernyataan Milan di laman resminya telah membantah semua spekulasi itu. Nesta menjadi pemain keempat yang telah memperbaharui kontraknya bersama Milan setelah Thiago Silva, Mark Van Bommel dan Flavio Roma, yang melakukannya kemarin.
Pemain berusia 35 tahun itu telah tampil di 26 pertandingan bersama Milan. Nesta direkrut ke San Siro pada musim 2002/2003.
