Rossoneri menyindir scudetto Inter musim 2005/2006.
Scudetto ke-18 telah resmi disandang AC Milan sejak pekan lalu dengan hasil imbang di markas AS Roma. Namun, perayaan lebih besar baru tergelar pada Sabtu (14/5) malam waktu setempat usai I Rossoneri menggulung Cagliari 4-1.
Ada satu hal mencolok saat bus tim berparade menuju Piazza Duomo. Para pemain Milan membentangkan spanduk bertuliskan: “18 scudetti, semuanya dimenangkan di lapangan”.
Kalimat tersebut merupakan bentuk ejekan untuk rival sekota mereka, Inter Milan, yang kebetulan sama-sama punya 18 titel juara Serie A.
Bedanya, satu scudetto Inter pada 2005/06 bisa dibilang merupakan ‘hadiah’. Di musim tersebut, yang menempati posisi teratas di klasemen akhir sebenarnya adalah Juventus, diikuti Milan di tempat kedua.
Namun, kedua tim tersebut dinyatakan bersalah karena terlibat dalam skandal calciopoli dan menerima hukuman berupa degradasi paksa ke Serie B (untuk Juventus) serta pengurangan 30 poin (Milan).
Inter yang sebelumnya ada di tempat ketiga pun ketiban durian runtuh berupa gelar scudetto.
